“Black Rhino/Racer X Motorsports’ Sponsored Athlete Steve “Wheels” Bucaro Has A Blast At The Sand Sports Super Show Stadium Super Trucks Race”
El Cajon, CA September 30, 2015 – Black Rhino/Racer X Motorsports sponsored athlete Steve “Wheels” Bucaro raced his pilot for the last race of the season; it was also his last race in the pilot period!
For the third year in a row, “Wheels” raced the pilot in the Trophy Kart class at Robby Gordon’s Stadium Super Trucks race during the 2015 Sand Sports Super Show September 19th & 20th .
“My car and I were fast but didn’t have much for the Trophy Karts. During Saturday night’s race I pulled a wheelie and, well, I ended up on my lid. That unfortunately tweaked my ball joint but the car still held up for the final day Sunday. It was such a blast no matter how poor I did.”
“Wheels” continued, “Thank you to Robby Gordon and his entire crew, my crew chief Franklin Smith for keeping my car going, and all my sponsors for their continued support. I’m sorry, no trophy this year.”
“Wheels” will be back next year in his ’97 S10 Blazer for the Mini-Open Class in the Lucas Oil Regionals in 2016.
