“BLACK RHINO PERFORMANCE ATHLETE MIA CHAPMAN OPENS 2018 ARIZONA REGIONAL SERIES ON TOP OF THE BOX”

4/9/18 El Cajon, CA – It’s been a few months since Mia Chapman has strapped into her Xtreme Machine and Fabrication Mod Kart, but you would not be able to tell by the way she opened up her 2018 campaign.  After a solid qualifying effort, Mia started round 1 of the Lucas Oil Arizona Regional Series with one goal in mind; just finish and get some good laps in while preparing for the National Series. Well Mia did just that and along the way got her first win of the early 2018 season.

Mia sat comfortably in second place for most of the race; with a crash at the beginning happening behind her she took advantage of the break in action to re-focus.  When the Green flag dropped Mia wasted no time to remind the race leader Luke Knupp that she was right behind him. Working on her lines she quickly realized coming out of turn 2 she was much faster than Knupp.

At the halfway point of the race Mia was now determined to force Knupp into making a mistake. With 4 laps left in the race, Mia dove her #537 Mod Kart to the inside of Knupp exiting turn 2 and made the pass.  Mia put 3 car lengths on the second-place car before even making back to the starting line.

Mia crossed the finish line in the first-place spot and gained the momentum going into round 2.  “The car was awesome” the young driver said after the race.  “I’m super excited for tomorrow” she added.  “It’s been a long time out of the car and I’m glad to be finally be racing again” the Phenom added.   Mia will be back in the seat for round 2 in Arizona looking to duplicate her efforts from round one.

“I would like to thank my dad, and Jimmy for giving me an amazing car and spotting for me” Mia said after the race.  “I would like to thank all my sponsors that continue to support me, without them none of this would be possible!” Mia added.
